how do you remove contiguous files

i have defragmented it and clean my hard drive but my compter is still ruining slow and iv taken lot of files out as well can eny body help me it's doing my head in.?i am runing windons xp 1,61 ghz,512 mb of ram

Not sure what you mean by 'contiguous files'. Contiguous usually means that the file is contained in contiguous allocation units across a disk with no gaps and no other files in between. A contiguous file is normally a good thing in that it is not 'fragmented' and therefore will load faster.

May I suggest a new post with more detail and BTW, a hint of what your Operating System is as well would help
