The CD's you have recorded in you computer have been changed to MP3 files. You will need to use a programme like Roxio which will allow you to copy the original files with the file extension CDA on to CD. The later marques of C5 CD player DO play MP3's so maybe get a new CD player.

Use nero, itunes, sonic record now, or any other cd burning software to conert mp3's to cda format. This conerts files to cd's

Your cd player in the vehicle will not be mp3 or will not play cd that have been compressed on your computer. Two things you can try do not compress songs on cd or change the unit in vehicle.these are not up to date old hat no mp3 for mat.
