How to turn on the Goodmans GDB3 freeview box without a remote control?

The remote control is broken so I bought a one-for-all. When searching through the codes it turned the box off, but now I cant turn it back on again!

Is there a way to turn it on without a remote, meybe by shorting come wires under the hood?

These freeview boxes are total shit and should never be sold in the first place. I've had nothing but problems with mine.

Can't see a reset button on my GDB3. Are you sure?

My remote won't turn on the box so is it the remote or the box which is faulty

No don't do that! There is a reset button at the back on the right-hand side.
