Apex DVD AD-1130W tray door will not open?

How can I get the door to open to accept dvds? Is it repairable or do I need to discard and buy a new one?

Apex is one of those, you get what you pay for companys. If you need it to open I suggest a lite tap on the side while holding the eject button down. NOTE!!! THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO ANY DISC INSIDE!!! attempt at your own risk.
