Radio code for 99 acura tl. It's the factory radio. It went into code status after i removed the battery wire.

I had a similar problem and my Acura dealer was able to retrieve the code with just the VIN. It was really easy. You shouldn't have to remove the radio.

It is different for every car. It is a 5-number code that may be found in any of several places. If you have the owner's manual, check to see if there is a card tucked in there. You can open the glove compartment and check the side for a sticker. Some have found it under the coin box. I am having trouble finding mine. If you can't find it you can call Acura but you'll need to remove the radio to get the unit's serial number.
