I am trying to install a cd player in my 1989 Ford Laser but I am unable to figure out how to remove the original cassette player could someone please help me. A detailed instruction would be greatly appreciated.

It has obviously been a while since you posted this thread. I have recently come across it while trying to work out the same problem with my 89 Laser. Did you ever work out how to remove the cassette player?
