Whats causing the shower to trip?

I have a Mira sport 10.8kw shower. It runs for about 10 mins or so then trips the main fuse. If I turn it back on at the trip switch, then it switches off within a few moments. If I leave it off for a while, then it runs ok for 10 mins or so again. I have double checked all wiring to make sure its connected ok. Could it be that the wiring isnt strong enough to supply it properly? Or how could I check to find out? The wiring was working ok with a triton 7.8KW shower without ever tripping it

32 amp is to small--- you want 45amp
and you may find your cable from rcd to shower may be to small 10mm is ok in some situations it must be 16mm.
but an electrician will tell you this. it may be a situation where you can't have a 10.5 shower due to the size of the main fuse box supply (or if you don't want a fire damaged house)

so who ever changed the shower to 10.5kw should be shot +it is illegal to change it unless u are part p reg and can put a cert on the electric work being done and carries a big fine

blame b&q for telling d.i.y. ers they can do it.

Its running off a 32amp trip switch on the main board, is that powerful enough or would we need a bigger trip switch?
