My GE side by side is freezing the food in the refrigerator even on low temp.

there are 2 temp adjusters. 1 is actually a thermostat & the other is an airflow damper. set both adjusters as warm as possible and see what happens. 1 adjuster will shut off the compressor, the other will stop cold air from entering the cooler side
