Lost color on my DVD. B/W only on TV display. How to restore color?

My SA-HT75 has been operating in color (as designed) for a few years. Lately I only get black/white DVD video when connected through TV. I have not conciously made any changes to hook-up configuration. (Video-Out on DVD connected to DVD-Video on TV) How can I restore color to TV display? (TV works fine in color and linked with VHS in color.)

Had a similar issues with a Panasonic TV & DVD player, switching between AV2 and AV2 fixed my problem

Make sure all the conections on the back of your TV are plugged in all the way.

try this: open the set up menu, and see if its in pal mode,if it is ,change it to ntsc mode.

PS. Come to think of it, I believe the HT75 is unusual in that it does output SVHS. However, this works both ways, so in that case check that you have the TV set to receive SVHS. On Panasoni AV2(S), instead of AV2. There may also be an SVHS switch on the rear of the SA-HT75.

If you are also using a Panasonic TV, then you've probably knocked the AV input over to SVHS. This is a TV setting.

On Panasonic usually need o press green fastext button to switch between AV2 and AV2(S).

In SVHS you will get B/W, unless inputing an SVHS signal.
