PLUS FUSE BLOWS AFTER 15MINUTES OF SWITCHING ON, ANY IDEAS?..FUSE INSIDE NEAR TRANSFORMER DOESN'T BLOW THOUGH....SHOULD HAVE 3AMP FUSE IN, INCREASED T NPOW 13AMP AND STILL BLOWS.....STEREO WORKES PERFECT BEFORE FUSE BLOWING.

hi, sounds like there may be a filter capacitor across the mains input in the unit that may be breaking down or the transformer itself, the fuse near the transformer maybe the transformer secondry o/p fuse with this not blowing this will narrow the fault to the already mentioned parts, Hope that helps
