Flush water not reaching front of bowl?

When I flush my toilet, the flush water just goes down the back and sides of the bowl, and doesn't reach the front. This results in a weak flush that doesn't rinse the front part of the toilet. Any advice? Thanks

try cleaning the holes round the front rim, limescale.

You might find that the feed pipe into the back has accumulated a lot of scale in the bottom bend. You may need to take off the cistern to reach it and clean it out.
