DVD appears to record the programmes but then when I try to retrieve them the machine is just locked up, we have pressed the timer button as it says to do in the manuel but there is no responce at all. The only way we can get the machine to work again is by unplugging it for 10seconds which then loses all the programmes we have tried to record, this happens about every other recording I try to do.

Now I have lost the freeveiw digital!

ull down flap at front of player and press up&down arrows at same time and reinstall dvd back to fatory settings this might resolve yout problem let me know how you get on cheers
