The motor on my Dyson smells of burning and it's making a put put sound?

consider yourself a very lucky lady, because dyson does not normally operate as cheaply as this, they must be now coming in to the real world, not before time,

I called Dyson to come out to my Hoover.....Phoned Monday, the guy came on Wednesday, put a new motor in, replaced the filters and the "pipes", ALL for £10.....because it's less than 4 years old! I was MEGA impressed..WELL DONE Dyson!!!

unfortunately, in my opinion you have the worst Dyson model for burning out the motor. The motor comes as a complete unit I think the motor costs about £65 I dont think it is worth spending this kind of money on this model as it has a multitude of other problems lurking
good luck
