Do I need to have a phone line connected to use sky+(plus).
I live in mainland europe and would like to get this system but if it needs a phone line connected then I will have a problem.

hi i have sky and for the last 8 months i have not had a phone line plugged in and all works fine for me

All Sky contracts require you to connect to a phone line for 12 months but you can get this waived for a fee. However if you have multi-room then all the Sky boxes must be permanently connect at all times and Sky actively police this.

As you may know you are not permitted to use a UK subscription outside of the UK.
