My DVD Burner part of my laptop doesn't work. I had my computer wiped and reinstalled all drivers. They were able to get the cdrom/dvd player to work, but the burner wont work.
That seems crazy, but i know it doesnt work. I have only had this computer for a little over a year, and the burner never worked.

Any suggestions how to fix it?

Not entirly true t,
Windows xp has the built in ablity to burn back up disks and data discs with no extra software nessesary. But then again no OS was stated.

In order to burn disks you need Application Software line Nero or Roxio. Drivers are not enough.
