how to get the @ sign to display on my laptop when i to use it for email,because i've tried but don't know have tried shift and the key that's 'pose to unlock it,please explain,make a model detail.

go to your start key go to accessories and then to assability, go to your on screen key board and use that. I have also had to copy and paste. I found I had a virus (trojan)that uses a keylogger to determine your keying habits. Everytime I came up with a different way to log in it blocked it shortly after good luck.
