I have a baxi solo 40 wall mounted boiler?

We have replaced the gas valve and the thermo coupler, when the boiler goes from the pilot light to main burner the boiler explodes as though there is to much gas, what can be done to rectify.

i can't say 100% what he has done without seeing. or what he has touched. has it worked right since he left. it may be the solinoid valve not shutting fully letting excess gas in

The gas settings are pre-set and marked with red paint, indicating that these are not to be adjusted, so how come the gas valve needs re-setting

S Thompson, March 2007
heard that one before. so now you have no boiler. i would get his corgi number checked u can do that online. don't mean he is registered because he has a card. or phone corgi tell them the problem. cause you will not see him again and your out of pocket

HI Spec plumbing.
We used a corgi registered plumber to install valve and thermo coupler, but he is to busy to return.

get him back to do a proper job and finish it, cause as it stands that boiler is danerous. hope you haven't paid.

I had a gas corgi engineer to carry out repairs to valve and thermo coupler

you have not set the gas properly. now you need a gas engineer to set it,

as what you have just done is illigal and dangerous.
