Worcester 350 boiler - low pressure light - gauge at right pressure?

First thing in the morning the boiler often hasn't fired, the boiler has the low pressure light showing even though, the gauge is showing the system pressure is fine (1.5 bar). If I turn the power off for a few minutes, and then turn it back on the boiler lights up. Once the boiler has lit it will quite happily run all day.

My boiler is a Worcester 350 Combi

Suggest you take out low pressure switch and either clean or replace it .as the water is not moving overnight it may be that dirt is lodging on the end of the sensor or water may be leaking into the sensor once you get it fired the heat and movement will masked the problem .You could link out the switch temporarily and see if the problem persist.dont think it will

I know the gauge is working ok, beacause when the system warms up, the pressure gauge shows a higher pressure.

are you sure the gauge is correct. it may be low on pressure and the gauge is stuck on 1.5 bar.
