My RH7500 has exactley the same problem Lg sent two `Repaired` replacement units & they both ended up with the same problem.
It must be a design fault ,to many with the same problem to be an isolated fault. Can you send more details because I am collecting evidence of others LG users with the same problem. I am going to try to get a replacement under consumer law (up to 6 years) even after the guarantee has run out, it should be fit for the purpose and £230 worth of DVD recorder (3 different ones) should last a lot longer than 18 months . I will be more than happy to share any information with you if you want to use the same legislation to get yours sorted.I have bookmarked this & I will check back.
