Sensor Microwave Convection oven...
When microwave starts it will run for only 59 seconds no matter what amount of time you put on. At 5 minutes, it runs to 4:01, press start again and it runs until 3:02, etc., to 2:03 and on. It cooks whatever is in the oven, but you have to stand there and press start every time. What is wrong and what do we do?

I don't know the answer but I am having the exact same problem with my R-1870. It started about 2 weeks ago. I just replaced the control board (the PC board behind the control panel) but it didn't correct the problem. The board cost $180.00, including tax and overnight shipipng, so don't go that route. I will continue looking into solutions. I will post here if I figure it out.
