How can I fix my 9inch extractor fan?- VentAxia - window modelV9-9F?

after cleaning it I re-assembled my fan, but unfortunately the rubber washer had perished. It now sounds like an aircraft taking off! I am uncertain of the name or number of the rubber washer and where exactly it should go. HELP!
