Just purchased one of the above. Also bought a Y connector to feed off the cold tap of the washing machine and a brass adaptor (one end fits on the Y connector, the other connects the feed on the fridge) My problem is, no matter how tight i make it, and even though I'm using an olive I'm still getting water leaking from where the fridge freezer pipe connects into the brass adaptor - No idea what to do next - Can anybody help?

can i use the cold water feed to my bolier to plumb in my new fridge freezer or will i need to connect to to the same one as the washing machine which is under the sink??

i do not have a feeder tank in the loft and boiler is mains fed?

need top use soem white PTFe tape wrap small amt around plastic female fitting an dshould self seal bee cawrefull ot to overtighten as mixing plastic and metal is sometimes a problem

Try wrapping some PTFE tape around the olive before tightening.

you must of overtightened and crushed the olive to much. any olive fitting only needs hand tight the nipping up with an adjustable spanner.
