let me guess, your with rogers, if thats the case; rogers have "branded" your phone with there firmware and not nokia's orginal firmware, in a nut shell, rogers has changed the phone so that button will only turn on the radio, and also you can't use mp3's as your ring tone, (inless you change the mp3 to wma format and make sure its under 600kb,) i've had the same problem with my phone from them, you can try to find a cell phone shop in your city that can "unbrand" the phone for you (change rogers firmware back to nokia's orginal firmware but i havn't found a place that can do that yet, ohh yeah, watch out the screen cracks with little to no force, buy a case for sure, hope that helps
