On my C3300, to get the restore factory settings option, its the F11 button you have to press as soon as the first start up screen appears

How do I upgrade the memory which I think is under the keyboard

I have done it many times to the factory restore point. All you have to do is restart the laptop and when u see the first start up screen loading keep pressing F10 until the restore version pops up! Then Follow the on screen instructions and then should take around 10 mins but when it goes back to factory state, it goes super fast!!!

Hope this Helps!!
