ideal isar he 30 is showing L 9 on the display what does this mean?

My IDEAL ISAR HE 30 is showing L 9 on the display every so often, it will reset itself once the reset button is pressed we have read the instruction manual from cover to cover and cannot find the L 9 explanation Any one any ideas? thank you
