How do I replace a stereo removeable face?

I recently bought a car with a cd player that is faceless. Apparently the previous owner removed the face, and then it was stolen. Is it possible to buy just a face? And (this is probably a dumb question) but does the brand of the unit in the car have to match the brand of teh face, because the unit doesn't have a brand or anything on it.

Hi

You will need to remove the unit to identify which model it is. The face can then be ordered from the manufacturer, but you will probably need to provide ID for obvious reasons. You may get lucky like I did and find a facia plate was just closing on an online auction site. Good luck
