Just received a surplus tv from hospital. It works ok, has a good picture and sound. Problem is my cable plugs right in and i get espn2, msnbc, fox local, and maybe 4 or 5 other channels only. Is there something blocking access to the remaining cable stations or is this tv just made to receive alimited number of channels? It has a sony remote that works ok. The set, when i received it, had been unplugged for over 10 hours. Yr 1993. Model no.KJ9320 A402. Chassis model no. 20D502-OOBB. Any input is much appreciated. My email C_Melin@msn.com

Easy fix
First go to MENU then select SETUP there should be an AUTO SEACH or AUTO PROGRAM feature. That should enable you tv to search for all available channels. After its done seaching exit menu and enjoy.
