i have a glow worm swift flow 80 combi boiler, need help to repair?

dhw was intermittent and now i'm lucky if the heater fires up at all the pilot light is ok , i have fitted a new fan and a new water pressure valve but this has not solved the problem . if it is a sensor of some sort where is it located and what does it look like? please help , if water does heat up it doesnt stay hot for long, any ideas?

Thanks for your reply and concerns. I missed "Had" fitted from the original question. The fan and relief valve were fitted by a registered Corgi engineer the last time I had problems, but he has since retired and the DHW problem has returned. I have since turned the central heating on to try and get DHW and the boiler has not been too bad since. This seem to be an intermittent fault. If it persists I will have to get another engineer out. you say your lucky if it fires up at all. have you sealed the flue chamber properley as you have changed the fan.

now you need to check if flue is sealed but you need an engineer to do that, as what you have done is illegal cause your not gas registered, flue chamber comes under gas rules.
