water in the frig?

On top of the lunchmeat middle drawer, there is water collecting, and sometimes it's frozen. Can you tell me where it's coming from and how to fix it?
I have a Kenmore, two door, freezer on top. It's a little old and I really don't know the year, it was given to me.
Thank-you,
Sally

It sounds like your fridge is set too low. There should be a dial located near the light. The higher the number, the colder your fridge will be. It's probably hovering around zero degrees, so moisture from the air is freezing as ice particles and then melting. There should be a moisture accumulator hidden at the back of your fridge and this could be full and water overflowing onto the shelf. This could then be freezing when your fridge dips below zero again. Simple solution: turn down the stat.
