How can I adjust my door up on GE side by side refrigerator model #GSS22WGP?

The refrigerator side door drops down just enough to NOT make contact with the light switch inside the top of that side. When contact is not made, the "door" to the freezer side does not open to allow the cold air to come from the freezer side and everything gets hot on the refrigerator side. I have looked for the adjusting screw to raise the door up, but can not find it either at the top or bottom of the door. This happened about 1 1/2 yrs ago and the light bulb got so hot that it melted cheese, curdled milk, and generally spoiled everything on that side. I had a couple of different repairmen come and when the second one noticed the door was lower on that side, he adjusted the door and it was fixed. I thought he made the adjustment from the bottom of the door, but I can't find anything there to adjust. I can't find anything to adjust at the top. Please help before I lose everything in my refrigerator again.

There is a threaded rod that extends down past the hinge. Upon careful examination, you will see that you can use a 3/16" open end wrench on the very end of that rod to turn it counter clockwise to raise the door, or clockwise to lower it. I couldn't wait any longer to figure this out because my food was not cool due to the light switch not being turned off when the door was closed. The switch controls the opening of the "door" between the freezer and refrigerator side, so cold air goes from freezer to frig. Anway, perseverance paid off in this case and I figured it out on my own.
