I have a flush handle water cistern, with an inlet and outlet pipe?

I have a flush handle water cistern, with an inlet and outlet pipe. Is it easy enough to exchange it to a push button cistern with hidden inlet and outlet pipes, without a plumber.
(Ps I am a woman sorry if my question does not make much sense.)

depends what you are capable of as in d.i.y. if your talking about a close couple toilet where the cistern sits on the pan . or a back to wall, where you only see the pan and the cistern is concealed behind a wall. back to wall will prob be no good to you as you have to build a false wall for cistern and waste to go behind. but any new toilet you may have to alter waste and will have to alter inlet water pipe. so can you solder copper pipe ? good luck!
