my tricity bendix washer starts up?

my tricity bendix aw1000 washer starts up but after about 10 to 15 minutes it trips the electric off can anyone tell me why please

hi janet the element is going to earth so everything is ok until the circuit board tells the machine to heat the water then it trips out (replace the element)
