need to change double glazing units...just the units not the frame....how do you measure the unit without taking it out

measure from the trim side measure from middle of trim both sides as long as you leave couple mil gap should be ok glass normally 24mil thick

If you look around the edge of the glass there is a trim. It may be inside or outside depending on the make. Prize this off and you will be able to measure it.
