DYSON D07, MOTOR GETS RED HOT THEN BLOWS FUSE?

Dyson D07, works fine for a few minutes then blows the fuse. Motor at this point is very hot. Do i assume motor is no good or is it another fault??

I have just bought a new filter for my DC07 because the motor was getting hot and the machine would switch itself off to cool down. I washed the old filter regularly, but have just fitted the new one and all the power has come back to the suck! It also weighs half the amount the old filter did! It's like having a new machine for £11.70.

dc07 is worst model for burning motors,if you are convinced there is no blockages then motor is goosed,my opinion is to forget it,motor for dc07 is £60-£70,motor only, fitting extra,a nightmare to fit,but dc07 does not justify this kind of money, this model has a multitude of other faults,if you like dyson, try and pick up earlier model,dc01 or dc04,we repair on a regular basis, and personally I would not give dyson a good mention, all parts are too expensive, only my opinion.
