flashing lights in w/m Indesit WIL103?

I've got w/m Indesit WIL 103. I took out water heater, someone put the water into the washing mashine and water run through w/h hole(it was the only method to use w/m with out of order water heater- put hot water into the w/m). I ordered new w/h, but I put old w/h until delivery new one. I switched on the w/m and now something is wrong. W/m starts working strangly, starts spins fast for 2secs and stops and after 1 min it takes water, pump water out in the same time and there are flashing two lights: main diode (red) flashing very fast, and easy iron diode flashing slowly. Can someone tell what is wrong, please?
Thanks

Yes, the Indesit is a rubbish machine, that is what is wrong. Ours was brand new just over a year ago. Two days ago on a normal 40 degree program 3 wash it started up as usual, but after ten mins we noticed it went quiet. When checked, the red main light was flashing medium speed, and the easy iron and extra rinse green lights were flashing in tandem.

When resetting the machine, now it starts the wash cycle (or anything else such as a spin cycle) normally, but after about 8 seconds, you see the lights do this again, and the pump comes on. At that time, water is being taken from the mains and the hot fill, but is being pumped straight down the drain.

I just refurbished my daughters new apartment, and there was a 'new' similar model Indesit left by the previous owner, said to be in good working order. When I plumbed and wired it in, and tried it, the hot water inlet was not functioning and it will only cold fill.

My advice? put it in a skip and buy another brand from someone who can make a washing machine that works for more than ten mins outside the warranty expiry date! Absolute junk!
