hi i have tried lavasoft spybot and pc-illin and i still get antivirus ads how can i get rid of them

I use two free spyware products, Spybot & Lavasoft Ad-Adware. Running these two will solve all spyware and pc ads problems
If you have a problem with your webpage being hijacked run "hijackthis", however be carefull as this tool deletes items out of your registry, deleting the wrong items can cause problems with your PC. (You would usually only have to look at the top of the list and delete the line associated with the explorer home page.

Be careful you don't over complicate your system with these so called useful tools. I suggest you uninstall all of the spyware removal and PC fixing tools from your PC and get something simple but effective like AVG Free 7.5 Anti Virus and then let Windows XP SP 2 firewall control the rest.

I have these two products (both free) and don't get popups, spyware or phishing issues
