the fuel pick assy in the tank was pulled loose, I went in the t tank and reconnected it but the wacker does not get fuel, Is there a certain position the assy should be installed? the assy is not dirty. Can I eliminate the assy?

Pull out the carb and clean & replace the gaskets on the carb. One of the carb gaskets is a small fuel pump. If it has a crack or split in the diaphragm it won't pull fuel out the tank...

my weedwacker gets gas to the carburetor but it wont
start by putting a few drops of gas into air intake of carb.it will start but only run until the gas is burnt off . i have turned low and high speed mixture adjustment screws all the way in then backed them out one turn then tryed to start no start backed screws out in quarter turn incroments trying to start between each turn.i have replaced the fuel line and fuel pickup ass'y.
