How can I fix Indesit washing machine?

The program suddenly stops on program 4 after about 5 minutes. I have to move it on manually to the next stage of washing.

i suspect the heater does not work or the thermostat is u/s,if heater is open circuit replace it.but it is an indesit,buy a candy avq130
