my cw494 dishwasher appears to be blocked.
It makes a beeping sound when switched on and the far right hand light flashes, also the spray symbol light flashes.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
I have tried a mild sink unblocking product.
If I empty all the wayer from the outlet well, will it register and allow the machine to switch on.

My wife's just fixed this on. She found it somewhere in the manual (What to do if, on a separate sheet).

Symptoms: The START indicator lamp flashes.
Solution: Ensure that the filter assembly is not clogged and if necessary clean it. Start the programme again. Press the START button for 2 seconds, until the lamp switches off. Select a new programme and press the Start button again (as normal).

Mine does too. It flashes 6 times between pauses. I believe this means low water level. We chuck a litre of water in, shut the door, and away she goes.
