Interpretation of Radio Code in Eeprom?

Just bought a TMS100 Eeprom reader. Connected it to a radio with a known code but cannot identify the location of the code.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks Pete
The ones I have been looking at are 24c16 & 24LC16 plus a 93C46. I believe all are 'standard' Eeprom's.

some radios use an EAROM ( electrically alterable read only memory) which the tms100 may not fully decode

is the radio chip an E2PROM ( Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) ?
