How to split washing machine door in 2 Aquarius 1000?

Thanks for previous answers - but I can't split the glass bowl from the door - I've taken off the screws, pushed back the clips that hold the bowl in place but it won't move - must I force it - I'm worried that I'll break it (maybe I'm stupid!!)
