Hi all,

I have recently bought an R reg vauxhall astra and am looking to replace the standard radio cassette with my pioneer cd player (DEH-P5700MP). I have the adapter to link the two connectors, but I cant seem to get the radio to fully sit into the housing on the dash. The vauxhall stereo is a blaupunkt and has no connecting wires, it simply connects directly to the in car connector. Is there a way to get some more room or does it mean major dash modification?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

hi there have u removed the factory cage with the factory stereo if not then remove it by bending it at top and bottem then pull the plugs are a bit difficult to get out thougth
