hermann icon 23t combie boiler, problem with hot water?

The heating seems to work fine, but too get hot water, the tap has to be full on for the hot water too come through, when pressure drops, boiler seems too cut out and water goes cold. British gas engineer has cleaned the fan ..But has still not rectified the problem. Any idea's?

replace the hot water heat exchanger,or clean it with spirit of salt acid.

replace the diverter valve membraine.

I think the 3 way valve or diverter valve or as it is termed in the Icon 23t manual hydraulic valve or diaphragm is faulty.
