Moffat 3000?

How do I replace the bulb in my oven
Lisa Dauber, February 2005
From p31 of the Moffat 3000 manual (March 1981)
To replace the Oven Light Bulb.
The type of bulb is a 40 watt Edison Screw.
1. Disconnect the Cooker from the electricity supply
2. Open the oven door, remove the oven shelves & linings
3. Insert a broad screwdriver blade between the back of the oven and the glass which covers the bulb. Support the glass and prise out sufficiently to release the spring clip fittings. The glass and a heat seal will spring out. (Care required - I doubt if spares are available!)
4. Unscrew the bulb in an anti-clockwise direction
5. Fit the new bulb by screwing in a clockwise direction. (N.B. If you can track one down, there are special versions of the bulb for oven interiors - ordinary ones don't last long!)
6. Replace the glass and heat seal by pressing firmly into the hole in the back of the oven.
7. Replace the linings and oven shelves.
8. (It doesn't say so in the manual, but don't forget to switch on the supply again!)
