Hotpoint Dishwasher Error AL08 - Help required!!?

I've read error code AL08 means 'Heat - Fill'
For Dishwashers including DWF70S
-but what does this mean? We've had the dishwaher for 2 years now, is it worth repairing, ordering a new part or binning?
