Just out of the blue my browsers will not open on my main
machine. I am running win2k and had IExplorer, Opera, Firefox,
and the AT and T Browser. Suddenly none will open even though I can ping the net and am connecting. Any ideas?

I took care of it by reformating the disk, reinstalling the operating system and restoring software from a backup. It was the hard way but it worked and I am back in busiess.

I think i would start off by uninstalling some of those browsers. Try and work on one only! Who are you pinging? If it starts 127.xxx.xxx.xxx then you are pinging yourself.

Most browsers will set themselves up ok, but check your connection is solid.

How do you connect? Is he browser using the correct connection?
