Look in the manufacturers Installation & Service book which should have been left with you when the boiler was installed.
The contents list at the front should have a section about filling the boiler / system.
The key you inserted only opens up a reservoir inside the boiler. You also need to open a "Tap" which on most Worcester combi's is a small grey or white coloured plastic knob which looks like a hexagonal shaped nut. This is usually next to where you've inserted the key, and both are usually fitted onto a black plastic assembly? The tap can sometimes be a bit stiff but they open by turning to the left.
If you insert the key correctly and open the tap (knob) you should hear water running into the boiler. If that happens you MUST turn off the tap as the pressure gauge reaches 1 Bar. Then remove the key.
If it sounds to complicated for you, give your installer a ring.
