Why can't I access the Internet w/ my wireless connection?

I have an Acer Aspire laptop w/ wireless WiFi access. Yesterday I could get on the net w/ no problems, but today it can not find the server... it still says I'm connected, but I can't find the server... what has changed? Is it a problem w/ my laptop, the router, or is it possible I'm being blocked from access?

It shows:

Ethernet Adapter Wireless Network Connection:
Media State....:Media Disconnected

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Media State....: Media Disconnected

And then shows my dial up connection information...
So what does this mean?

It depends where it is being stopped.
If you are using windows then try pinging to web sites and the router.
start>run>cmd
in DOS box type ipconfig and press enter.
The info should show a wireless connection with a 192 ip
the default gateway is the router, probably 192.168.2.1 or suchaslike.
type : ping {correct ip of default gateway} and press enter.
