I did what you suggested & it shows:

Ethernet Adapter Wireless Network Connection:
Media State....:Media Disconnected

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Media State....: Media Disconnected

And then shows my dial up connection information...
So what does this mean?

From that it looks like you have lost your wireless connection. Have a look at the adapter status by right clicking on it in the tool bar and choosing status. Then fix what ever it is saying the problem is. By the way you have said exactly what it said about your dial up connection but I would go into its settings and choose 'never dial a connection'.
