Machine fills and agitates but won't drain for the rinse?
The machine is fine on the wash cycle, it fills and agitates fine. When it goes into the rinse cycle it just stops. It won't drain the water. It is a Kenmore 110 - older model. It came with my apt. It works great other than this problem that just began yesterday.
If your washer goes "dead" after its done washing, a broken lid switch would also cause this.

I guess the pump has either failed, or blocked, check the filter and check your wash for lost handerchiefs and socks, test the pump windings, see if pump will rotate freely.
